Reminder Padre Pio Meeting is this Saturday, Jan 7th at St Philip. Our speaker will be Bro Josh Reynolds on “Son of Man.” In Bro Josh’s words – “Josh Reynolds is an adopted son of God. He was baptized in 1980 in a Protestant church but never attended. He and Karen were married in the Catholic church in 1993 and recently celebrated their 30th anniversary. He converted from agnosticism in 2001 and after RCIA preparation received the Eucharist and Confirmation at the Easter Vigil that year. He is an earthly father to sons Ben, Max, Sam, and daughter Ava. He taught Religious Education for over 20 years at multiple parishes, including 5 years at St Philip. He is currently the ministry lead for Fraternus at St Philip.” We look forward to Bro Josh’s talk on the first Saturday of January 2024!

Our 2-day Mission on Nov 29, 30 2023 at Annunciation Church at Bogalusa, Louisiana was very blessed. We want to thank Fr. Angel and Bro John for inviting and hosting us, and Sis Verna and Sis Donna for taking the time out to share meals with us. We are invited to return for next year! St Padre Pio Healing and Testimonies by Bro Mike Roberson:
“I attended a prayer meeting last night in Bogalusa LA for the 2-Day St. Pio Mission at Annunciation Catholic Church, Bogalusa, LA on Nov. 29, 30, 2023, and wanted to tell you thanks.
Now I would like to share the story of my miracle with you.
I was diagnosed with colon cancer that had spread to the liver in October 2022, and given 2 or 3 years to live. We started chemotherapy every other week.
In August 2023 my wife wanted me to get anointed so she made arrangements with our local priest (Fr. Angel). We went to the rectory (my wife, myself, the priest, and another person were there) and we all prayed. After we finished the other person came up to me and gave me a rosary that had touched the blood of the cloth from St. Padre Pio at the St Pio 3-Day Mission in June 2023 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Algiers, LA. In September, I had another MRI and the cancer was gone out of my body.
When meeting with the doctor the following week she had stated that this was a miracle. I still have to get checked regularly but I know in my heart that it truly came from God through St. Padre Pio.
Just wanted to let you know that the work you are doing is touching many lives.
